IMUS are appointed as lead designer to develop a new design for the entrance to the Stansted Airport Central Search Area. The new portal entrance provides passengers with a clearly defined route from the electronic boarding pass check-in to the newly developed search area. The design was to be both bold and dynamic, creating a statement piece within the airport concourse whilst providing an intuitive wayfinding solution.

The highly successful coordinated design achieved it's key operational objectives and the management of the construction works ensured that all interfacing and adjacent live operational areas continued to operate safely with minimal disruption.
