In 2021 Manchester Airport Group (MAG) commenced the development of the Manchester Airport Transformation Programme (MAN-TP). This was the largest ever investment in the Terminal 2 facilities at Manchester Airport, totalling in excess of £1bn.

Working under the direction of LPL, IMUS provided a consultancy role throughout providing them with a design appraisal and commentary service as well as the design development of several elements of the work such as, the Remote Screening Facility and the Baggage Handling services coordination.
